Oct 13, 2013 · We only wish we had read the company's reviews before using Carjet. The actual booking process was easy - but getting our money back is another thing. We ended up having to pay for a taxi from Crete airport. Our advice - do not use Carjet as it has been a scam. Basic consumer rights is: i pay for something, i get something. Carjet do not operate like that. I have rented cars in many countries, and many rental companies will not accept payment from you without a credit card as opposed to a debit card. Carjet did take my money, and then refused to give me a car, and then refused to refund me! CarJet is probably the biggest tourist trap I’ve ever come across. Advertises “cheapest car rentals” when in fact it’s the most expensive. No issues with car hire company in Milos, but they only had a 2015 Nissan Micra with 140,000 Km on it. Checked Avance car rental and I found a bigger, newer car for 200€ less. I booked the car with unlimited km when I picked up tge car, SIxt only honor 375km per day, they can't verify my booking with unlimited km from carjet and carjet sent out contract without mentioning of unlimited km.
